We are modern traditionalists.  Wood provides warmth and comfort while providing structural integrity. A resilient building is just as important as the health and safety of its occupants. We expect our client’s to fall in love with our buildings.

Visualization is super important to us. We use 3-D and BIM software to simplify the design, engineering, construction, and deconstruction process. 

Value-based engineering is paramount in every project. Cost competitive materials are specified which meet financial success criteria for each owner.

“End of life” is considered in material selection. We honor our living timbers. Lowering embodied carbon and re-use are themes considered in every project. 

Environmental architecture makes common sense.  For example, using clay or stone materials on north sides to shield from wind, or mass timber on the south and west to retain the sun's warmth.
